I have been involved in the healthcare, and health and fitness industry for over 20 years. I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado and nationally certified with the National Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In 2000, I graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, CO.

My background includes working for Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in their alternative healthcare department, Bridges Integrative Health, for five years. While there I gained tremendous experience treating patients with acupuncture in a hospital setting with conditions ranging from all types of pain to the side effects of Chemotherapy and recovery from surgery. Additionally, I regularly presented the benefits of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to doctors, nurses and the community of Wheat Ridge, CO.

I have always had an interest in the mind-body connection. My passion to learn how emotions affect the physical body (and vice versa) led me to study a specialized type of acupuncture known as Classical Five Element Acupuncture. In 2005 I completed a nine-month intensive program at the Institute of Classical Five Element Acupuncture in Santa Monica, California.

Currently, I have two private practice locations where I treat patients. I teach classes occasionally for the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as supervise students at the school’s clinic. I enjoy giving informational lectures on acupuncture and its health benefits and schedule lectures regularly.
